Arabica

Arabica coffee is coffee that tastes traditionally considered the most delicious by coffee lovers. Arabica coffee beans have a characteristic cir seed size smaller than robusta coffee beans, a lower caffeine content, flavor and aroma are more delicious and the price is more expensive.
Arabica coffee first described by Linnaeus in 1753. The best varieties known is typica and bourbon and from diverse strains of this type have been developed.

Characteristic features :
Habitus: shrubs, height 2-3 meters
Stem: erect, rounded, branching monopodial, rough surface.
Leaves: single, opposite, oval, 8-15 cm long, 4-7 cm wide.
Interest: Compound, an umbrella shape, tapering petals, five strands, 3 mm long, green, stalk stamen attaches.
Fruit: stone, ovoid, 0.5-1 cm diameter, green when young dark red.
Seeds: spherical.
Roots: riding, light yellow

* Coffee Colombia (Colombian coffe) - first introduced in Colombia in early 1800. Currently tahunn cultivars Maragogype, Caturra, Typica and Bourbon are grown in this country. If cooking directly in this coffee has a strong taste and aroma.
* Colombian Milds - These varieties include coffee from Colombia, Kenya and Tanzania. Everything is kind of washed arabica coffee.
* Guatemala Huehuetenango -ditanam 5000 feet in the northern part of Guatemala.
